Doubleheader Starts Smoky Mountain Season March 3-4

21, 2023) Smoky Mountain Speedway will start the 2023
season on March 3 and 4 with the 10th annual Tennessee Tipoff.
The World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series will
be racing on both nights. During the off-season, Smoky Mountain
Speedway was shortened to a 3/8-mile track. The Tennessee Tipoff
will be the first time for competition on the new configuration.
Defending series champion Dennis Erb Jr. will lead a strong group
of series regulars into Smoky Mountain Speedway. Chris Madden,
Brandon Sheppard, Bobby Pierce, Jimmy Owens, Ryan Gustin, Nick
Hoffman, Max Blair, Tanner English, Boom Briggs, Kyle Bronson,
Payton Freeman, Brian Shirley, Shane Clanton, Johnny Scott, Gordy
Gundaker, Cade Dillard, Brent Larson, Logan Martin, Jordan Koehler,
Todd Cooney, and Dustin Walker are other series regulars scheduled
to race. Other national and regional drivers expected include
Jonathan Davenport, Devin Moran, Mike Marlar, Tim McCreadie, Stormy
Scott, Dale McDowell, Ricky Weiss, Michael Chilton, Eli Beets,
Cameron Marlar, and more.
Action gets started on Friday, March 3 when the World of Outlaws
Case Construction Late Models will race for $10,000. Also racing
will be classic cars for $600 to win and front wheel drive cars
for $500 to win. Racing continues Saturday, March 4 for a $15,000
to win World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Models main event.
Sportsman late models will also be racing for $800 to win and
the Kajun Mini Stock Association for $1,500 to win.
On Friday, March 3, all gates will open at 2:00. The drivers
meeting is set for 6:00. Hot laps, time trials, and racing action
will begin at 6:30. All gates will open at noon on Saturday, March
4. The drivers meeting will take place at 5:30 followed by hot
laps and racing at 6:00.
Grandstand ticket prices on Friday, March 3 are $30 for adults,
kids 11 and under are $5. Reserved seats are $35 for adults and
$10 for kids 11 and under. Tier parking tickets are $40 for adults,
kids 11 and under are $5. Pit passes are $40 for adults, kids
11 and under are $5. Advance pit passes are also available for
$45 for adults. Grandstand ticket prices on Saturday, March 4
are $35 for adults, kids 11 and under are $5. Reserved seats are
$40 for adults and $10 for kids 11 and under. Tier parking tickets
are $45 for adults, kids 11 and under are $5. Pit passes are $45
for adults, kids 11 and under are $5. Advance pit passes are also
available for $50 for adults. Pre-race tickets for either night

Camping is available for each night. Camping spots are $20 a
night and $10 a night for tents. To reserve a spot, call Liz Walker
at 865-257-1515. There is no cost to reserve a spot. Chairs will
only be allowed on the concrete areas of the grandstands. Small
seatbacks and cushions are permitted elsewhere. We ask that fans
that are using large chairs use the top rows to prevent blocking
others view. Anyone wanting a seat on the concrete bleachers are
asked to get to the track early.

Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville,
Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles
and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for
approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first
entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is tier
parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the third right
on Crye Road.
