TIRE RULE CLARIFICATION: REGARDING RIGHT REAR OPTION
ULTIMATE Series Officials have recently been advised that Hoosier Race Tires is now manufacturing more than one compound of tire with the “70” designation. In the way of clarification and in the interest of fair and equal competition ULTIMATE Series Officials have made the following rulebook amendment:
Hoosier Compounds allowed as a RIGHT REAR OPTION will be: Hoosier 2700, SPEC 70 or the FT600 (Crate 70) ONLY. No other Hoosier 70 designations will be allowed at ULTIMATE Series events.
This change is effective beginning with this weekend’s events at 411 Speedway and Smoky Mountain Speedway and will remain in place through the balance of the 2012 season.
