MARYVILLE, Tennessee-Vic Hill claimed the checkered flag on Saturday night for the Southern All-Stars Late Model Series at Smoky Mountain Speedway. Hill, started on the front row and never looked back as he led all 50 laps of Saturday nights A-Feature in front of a near capacity crowd. Hill had to hold off Billy Ogle Jr after a late caution had come out but had no problem on the restarts. “ It can be frustrating at times to have a late caution but when your car is working as well as it was you just learn to cope with it,” said Hill.
Greg Martin claimed the A-feature in the Crate Late Model class following the All-Stars. Martin started on the outside of row one and went on to lead every lap. Martin had to battle Justin Summers in the early stages of the race but took the lead on lap one and never looked back.
Travis Reno got his first victory of the year in the Street Stock A-Feature at Smoky Mountain Speedway. Starting on the front row Reno never looked back as he got his first win since last years season opener. As Reno drove away from the field

The final feature of the night saw Michael Courtney take home the win in the Modified Mini A-Feature. In a race that saw half of the starting eight cars leave the field, Courtney was able to hold on for a comfortable victory.
