STREET STOCK FALL BRAWL RULES FOR SATURDAY NOV 2ND $1,000 TO WIN

MODIFIED STREET WEIGHT: 3000 lbs anytime. Smoky Mountain Street Stock, Tazewell Modifed Street, and 411 Street Stock legal motor 2900 anytime. There will be no burnoff. If there is an excessive amount of cautions the weight will be adjusted. Everyone will be told over the raceceiver before anyone crosses the scales at the discretion of the Race Director.

ENGINE: Open motor, no aluminum heads or block, no dry sump.

BODIES: Must be street type cars, no clip cars, alum bodies ok must be “stock appearing” Track approval. Call before you Haul. No wedge bodies. Rear must be enclosed.

WHEELS AND TIRES: 10 inch wheels max. Any tire.

SUSPENSIONS: Racing springs and shocks allowed, can be relocated. Coil overs allowed, stock type rear suspension, 3 or 4 link, can have heim and tube trailing arms, leaf spring cars can have sliders. No quick change rear ends. 9 inch floaters ok. Bert and Brinn type transmissions allowed.

FUEL: Gas only.

8 inch spoiler max. Late Model type side braces allowed. Three spoiler braces are allowed 8″ high, 18 1/2″ long maximum. NON ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS ONLY. $150 CLAIM PER SHOCK. Working Raceceivers Mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We are just DAYS away from the first EVER Tennessee State Championship at Smoky Mountain Speedway-

A few things just to make sure everyone understands this weekends format, times, prices, and other essential information.

We are offering an incredible 2 day pass discount: (we would love to be with you all weekend)

Grandstands and Tier ( If you purchase the 2 night Pkg, You MUST Keep your ticket from Friday night to get in Saturday Night) If you lose your ticket, you will be required to pay for a full Saturday Night ticket!

Pits (If you purchase the 2 night Pkg, You MUST Keep your armband on for the 2 nights, or you will have to purchase another band at the gate) (They will be plastic and can withstand water)

Camping @ The Track:

Dry Camping will be Available for the weekend for a charge of $25 (no hookups)

Camping will be in the second entrance ( lot beside of Tier Parking )

– this was going to be behind the grandstands (we changed the location for more space)

Dry Camping will be available this weekend

Dry camping will be available this Friday and Saturday for the Tennessee State Championship. An allotted space behind the grandstands will be marked off for campers . The cost is $25 for the weekend. You will pay for this the same time you are paying for your admission pass.

Tennessee State Championship Race less than two weeks away at Smoky Mountain Speedway

MARYVILLE, TN (October 15, 2013)—Final details are being made for the Tennessee State Championship Race presented by NAPA Auto Parts on Friday/Saturday October 25/26 at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN.

 

On Friday Night October 25th the Super Late Models will open up the weekend with an un-sanctioned 20-lap $2,000 to win / $250 to start event. The Limited Late Models will race for $2,000 to win / $200 to start, the Modifieds will race for $400 to win and the Mini Stock/Front Wheel Drive division will compete for $400 to win.

 

On Saturday Night October 26th the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series will sanction the 50-lap $10,000 to win / $500 to start Tennessee State Championship Main event for the Super Late Models. The Crate Late Models will race for $2,000 to win / $200 to start while the Street Stocks will race for $500 to win and the Classic Cars will make their lone season appearance to Smoky Mountain paying $500 to win.

 

Ticket price amounts have been released for the two-day event. Grandstand admission for Friday October 25th will be $10.00, Tier Parking is $15.00 and Pit Passes are $30.00. On Saturday October 26th Grandstand admission is $20.00 while Tier Parking is $25.00 and Pit Passes will be $40.00. A specially priced Two-Day Pass will be offered as follows: Two-Day Grandstand Admission is $25.00, Two-Day Tier Parking Pass is $35.00 and a Two-Day Pit Pass is $65.00.

 

Times for the event have also been released. On Friday October 25th the Pit Gates will open at 3:00 pm while the Grandstands and Tier Parking will open at 5:00 pm and the Driver’s Meeting is at 7:00 pm with Hot Laps to follow. On Saturday October 26th the grounds will be secure and pits cleared from 1:30 until 2:00 then re-open. The Grandstands and Tier Parking will open at 5:00 pm and the Driver’s Meeting will begin at 6:00 pm with Hot Laps to follow.  A driver’s autograph session will be held in the main grandstand area from 5:15-5:45 on Saturday afternoon.

 

Racing action for Smoky Mountain Speedway includes the hosting of other special events throughout the 2013 season including: Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series, Ray Cook’s Spring Nationals Series, Ray Cook’s Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series, American Modified Series, World of Outlaws Late Model Series, United Sprint Car Series, Southern Regional Racing Series and the Ultimate Late Models.
