Tommy “Rocket Boy” Kerr received two surprises Saturday night. The first surprise came while riding Stanley Best in one of “The Mountains” new twoseaters. Tommy lured Stanley into the twoseater by telling him he needed to make a couple of warm up laps, Tommy had every intention of surprising Stanley by spinning the car out. But the real surprise came when Tommy slammed the wall during the spin out. The second surprise came when Stanley, having built the car at his Maryville shop presented Tommy with the repair bill. Body damage $450.00, rear bumper $150.00, wheel and tire $300.00, seeing the expression on both their faces, PRICELESS.
