Smoky Mountain Speedway Returns (where there’s smoke there’s fire)

A group of investors have joined together with the Coffey family to revitalize Smoky Mountain Raceway’s facility. This will insure the success of the track for years to come. There will be several infrastructural improvement projects completed before the 2011 season kicks off, which will be announced January 29th at the 2010 Season Awards Banquet. We will also be bringing new personnel on board to help us with marketing and other public relations projects. For the 2011 Season, new key people will join our management team for race night operations. Last but not least, the new two-seat passenger late model will be ready to take fans for a ride on race nights!

Our top class will feature the NeSmith Late Model paying $700 to win. We will also be running the Modified Street, Pure Mini, Mini Stock and Mini Late Models.

We will also be bringing the Super Late Models back more frequently.

You will also see numerous improvements coming to the Friday kart track.
